Day 01 : Arrival at Kochi

We will welcome you on arrival at Kochi International Airport or Railway Station. Once you refresh in your hotel, we shall start our sightseeing of Kochi. The beautiful Kochi has several attractions for tourists, some Highlights of Kerala which are listed below:

Day 02 : Kochi - Munnar (145 km / 4.5 hrs)

We will drive towards Munnar hill station in the morning after breakfast. We will halt at the beautiful Valera and Cheeyappara Falls that will fall en-route where we shall have our lunch and relax for some time. We will continue our journey to Munnar after lunch, passing through windy roads during highlights of Kerala tour. The 4 hour drive would be very enticing as the whole route passes though lush green surroundings with beautiful natural vistas either side during Kerala highlights tour. We will reach Munnar late evening and stay in a resort there.


Day 03 : Munnar

Next day of Kerala highlights tour, Munnar is a green paradise. The beautiful hill station is known for its aesthetically designed tourist cottages, vast tea and coffee plantations and mist enveloped rolling hills. It is 1600 m above sea level and is considered the most popular hill station of Kerala. Fragrance of flowers and spice plantations is spread everywhere in Munnar and you can also enjoy trekking, paragliding and mountain biking at the hill station. Photo Point, Kundale Lake, Tea Museum, Echo Point, Blossom Park, Anamudi Peak, Nyamakadu Waterfalls and Eravikulam National Park are the prime attractions of Munnar that we will visit during the day of Kerala highlights tour. Overnight stay will be at Munnar hill station.

Day 04 : Munnar - Periyar(130 km/ 04 hrs)

We shall proceed to Periyar National Park in the morning. Our drive will be through vast cardamom and tea plantations. Periyar National Park is the most important destination for wildlife lovers in Kerala. You will reach Periyar in the evening and relax in the tourist lodge. Rest of the time will be all yours. Enjoy delicious dinner in your tourist lodge.


Day 05 : Periyar - Alleppey (160 km / 4.5 hrs)

Next day of highlights of Kerala tour, We will start our sightseeing of Periyar National Park early in the morning. The sanctuary is a reserve for the elusive Indian Tiger. Locally known at Thekkady Sacntuary, the Reserve is spread over 777 sq km. It is 60 km from Idukky district. The sanctuary is home to a variety of mammals like elephants, sloth bears, boars, bisons, lion-tailed macaque, deer etc. Besides this, several varieties of birds, reptiles, plants and butterflies are also found here. Periyar Lake at the center is garbed in vibrant hues of nature's bounties. It is a popular destination for honeymooner and weekend getaways. The crystal clear waters of the lake are conjured with endless rolling hills and scented lush greenery. We will enjoy a pleasure boat ride in the serene waters of Periyar Lake and watch the romantic sunset at evening duirng Kerala tourist spots. We shall proceed to Alleppey in the evening.


Day 06 : Alleppey - Kochi (70 km/ 02 hrs)

At the last day of highlights of Kerala tour, Alleppey is famous for its enchanting backwaters. We shall enjoy pleasure houseboat cruise in Alleppey backwaters which are flanked by meandering coconut groves and dense mangroves. Marine and mammalian life of Alleppey is simply amusing as you will be able to view some exotic species of mammals, fishes and birds here. Alleppey is famous for its Snake Boat Races which are held on every second Saturday of August (Nehru Snake Boat Race), during Onam celebrations and the peak tourist season which starts from July and ends at September. The houseboats are fitted with all modern amenities like spacious dining rooms with large windows, observation deck and private toilets. After spending few memorable hours at Alleppey Beach and backwaters, we shall proceed to Kochi International Airport from where you will take flight back to your home.
